Why It Matters
Wittenberg's capacity to “provide a liberal arts education dedicated to intellectual inquiry and wholeness of person within a diverse residential community” requires attracting, enrolling, and retaining well-rounded students with the collective talent, interests, and abilities to take full advantage of all we have to offer. These academic areas - like the Education Department - are the heart of our pursuit of knowledge and what gives Wittenberg graduates an edge: inside the classroom and beyond!
How We Can Make A Difference Today
To honor the memory of his late wife, Karen, and her many years as a Witt employee overseeing student teacher placement, Phil Teusink '71 has generously offered to match $1,000 in donations made to the Education Department Fund.
The Education Department fund provides immediate impact through budget relief and program support for our students and staff: everything from books (including the Karen Teusink Book Collection), to supplies, to professional development opportunities.
