Show Your Tiger Pride Through Support of Wittenberg in Lesotho
We are excited for Wittenberg University's student service-learning trip to Lesotho, a kingdom in Southern Africa, during summer 2024.
The fundraising priority for this trip is to offset material costs associated with supplies and materials needed for projects during our time abroad. As such, an anonymous donor has offered to match 1:1 up to $7,500 for donations made to the Lesotho Project and Materials fund.
These funds will be used to pay for bricks and cement to help build a home for an orphan-headed household. In addition, funds will be used to purchase materials to build a greenhouse at a soup kitchen for vulnerable children, buy playground equipment and the paint needed to paint a pre-school and a primary school where our students will be working this summer.
